Througout human existence there has been and will always be a want/need to return to the past and traditional values. In fact most monolithic religions were started under this pretex.
People too soon forget that all the appliances they have now and what a key role it plays in there day to day lives.
We have a view that a more tradtional way of life will some how make us more intune with nature
and a slower pace of life but all the advancments we have made in technology (communication, energy and transport) help us to make the most of the time we have.
Also in terms of a traditional family life same partner relationships are now very common and even same partner relationships parents. Society is a lot more excepting of peoples differences, would a traditional way of life mean to lose the advancements we have made?
